Sunee Tower has a very good water park-swimmimg pool for children. Probably worth the drive from Surin as I know of nothing in between.

On the main road to Roi-et about 2 km south of Selaphum, there is a very good waterpark with two restaurants on the left hand side of the main road. At a place with a clothing factory called CHIC. Children love it there. Cheap steaks and beer for the parents while their children enjoy the water park.

Is there not a water park attached to Korat Zoo. Never been but might be worth checking as a possible alternative? I believe the ones at Korat Mall and Surin/ Buriram beach are not open for business.

Just a pool, not a water park.

Like posters above, you'd be better making the right turn on the Highway 24 and going to the water park at Korat Zoo.

For accommodation the Korat Resort is within 3 kilometres of the Zoo; a great weekend.

Sunee's is a pool with a couple of slides and indifferent safety staff; beware, keep your eyes on the kids 'cos they don't.

its crap. took my daughter there in december after the sunee closed the main pool for maintenance with scant noticed. was greeted by totally disinterested staff playing games on their mobiles. they only turn the big flume on if you ask them. waste of money IMO

I used to live 100m away from Sunee and took my kids their regular. It was well priced, non swimming adults entered free, everything worked and the staff were friendly. Boy, how things change in just a few years. The price has doubled, now swimming adults have to pay, the staff *****(not allowed to bring my takeaway coffee that I had bought inside the Sunee complex in with me) and completely non existent around the pool. Never again.

The only highlight of the visit was the head gear that the girl at the kiosk was wearing.

There's a much better pool when driving towards Yasothon. Let's say you come from Tesco heading to ring road. Always go straight, leave Mitsubishi behind you, ( there's another one, not the one at Chajangoon rd.) and watch out for a small market on the left hand side.

No slides there......

You';ll have to make a left turn right after this little market, as there're no signs in English. You'll find it on the right hand side after about 150 meters, a snooker place is right in front of the pool.-wai.gif
