Here we go, Sutheps been ranting all week, now these thugs are ramping it up further. And as for all the extremist TV supporters on both sides of the divide spouting off here. Many of you like to see everything as Red or Yellow, what is wrong with some shades in between? Both sides have good points and both sides leaders are equally full of $hit. Simply spouting rhetoric and making threats is not going to solve this, talking IS. If you (TV extremists) cannot see this then you are morons.

an army of peed off taxi drivers is big enough to deal with them alone .too many in BKK have had the livelihoods trashed by these cretins ,the silent majority are about to make themselves heard it seems .

yes, when will she resign?

When will Suthep give up?

You must be both blind and deaf, not to mention intentionally obtuse. Suthep has stated several times when he will give up. He will quit when Yingluck resigns and the Thaksin regime is obliterated from the political sphere.

Now...we are waiting for your answer. When will Yingluck/Thaksin give up. Millions are waiting to hear the answer to that question. All problems are because she won't answer it.

Is that any more believable than the half dozen times he has said "this is our final battle, and if we don't win, I will turn myself in" Every "final" battle somehow finds a way to be extended by him till "next time". Which is one of the reasons I have zero belief in his statements about an "appointed council" (of which no member has been yet named) only staying in power "no more than 18 months."

I'm assuming when she is voted out?

Doubtful. She's not making any progress towards that at all. If that was really what she was concerned about...the vote....she could simply resign, allow the needed reforms to take place, and a vote could occur in around a year. Then, she could find out what the people really want. There is no need for her to be in charge during that period if the vote is what counted. No, she doesn't care about the vote. Not really. That is a cover. She cares about staying in power at all costs.

I want to hear a real answer. What would it take to make her leave?

The government should step down immediately.

We have seen how there supporters support them in Trat last night. If it is to be a civil war it will be the actions of the government supporters.

What a stupid post.. after weeks and month of discrimination and blocking thousands of People from the income... you still think that even the Patient Thai People will sit for years and do nothing? The one who is bringing up the Problems is Mr. Suthep the crime southerner with his armed gang.. while there are some out on bail he should be in for murderer!

RT@veen_NT: #Hatred: (vdo) via @PatricLand: Red shirts cheer loudly hearing deaths &injuries from attacked PDRC Trat RT @A_Kawin youtu.be/mdblkvJ1eI0

RT@waanspeaking: Quite disturbing. Some Red Shirts cheered at attacks targeting PDRC in Trat. youtu.be/mdblkvJ1eI0

To her credit Tida stopped the rabid red shirt rep from Chonburi who announced how pleased he was some protesters died, he then stormed off in a rage shouting, "are we going to fight or not?"

Very nasty.

When Tida resigns from the UDD and disassociates herself from these terrorists, THEN I'll believe she is not one of them, instead of some propagandist who merely realizes how bad it looks for her side to be cheering on the murder of children.

I think there two camps (minimum) in UDD, and there fight for dominate it.....

One camp prone peaceful and parliament method

other violence.......

I think, if UDD want to stay a democracy fighter they must clean their camp from terrorist and violent method advocate...... Like some Red radio leader who always call to violent act against their opposite...

Whatever you may think of the PDRC movement, they have only ever flared up into violence, when provoked by others. They are light years away from the red plague in Thailand that uses violence for its own ends. I am disgusted that so many here can still seem to side with these red dogs. Shame on you all

The biggest dog may be yourself.. this People just wait for get democratic votings and are calm and Patient up to now. The armed bastards in Bangkok should be away from the streets since month.. Whom ever Group they belong to - that they can kill Police and destroy government properties could be seen on TV.. and it was always Suthep-Supporters.. as reported.. specially those break up Police cars and steal uniforms, shields, private belongings guns etc...

She did have an election which by its nature is a way to be voted out. It's not clear at all that the majority of thai people want her gone. Sutheps solution of a Peoples Council was ridiculous, and she has no reasons to accept those terms. I do not believe the red shirts would accept that either. It's never been clear what "reforms" are to be put in place.

It's a real answer and a democratic answer whether you accept it or not.

Why isn't Jatuporn in court fighting terrorism charges? His case was delayed because his co-accused were sitting MPs, but parliament is no longer in session and hasn't been for some time. Wouldn't this case then be priority given its limited opportunity to proceed?

What about Abhisit and Sutheps murderer cases ?? Much longer in the pipe to be done now!! Would end 99% of the current Problems..

I'll tell you? I'm assuming you are a democrat? (small 'd')

the Thai people VOTING against her party

and why does the majority not?

because the Democrats (big 'D') cannot even get their act together to be a viable opposition - you would think PTP would get slaughtered at any election, but they aren't why?

because the majority of Thais DO NOT want an elitist party in power - and that is the truth - not because they really love PTP but they hate the Dems Ammart Party - change that and they would lose

So, this is how the "reformed" and "peaceful" Tida the "ex" Communist responds on the day following a Red terror attack on peaceful protesters in which children were murdered.

RT@waanspeaking: UDD Thida: Reds "have 2 choices. If we don't win, they'll kill us. It's between death and victory." thairath.co.th/content/pol/40

RT@waanspeaking: UDD Thida: "From now on, Suthep will know what UDD is capable of."

These people are announcing the launch of a terrorist campaign.

not at all..

they just not do like Jesus telling us that if they hit you on the right cheeck that you should give them the left..

They now Change to go on an eye for an eye and a teeth for a teeth ...

All those who write about peaceful protests should think over what violence is.. If in your Country can cut electricity and water from government place, seize government house, block Major streets in capital City and so on.. and call that PEACEFUL ??? You must be a catholic of the first decade .. the end justifies the means..

But I guess you will be the first one who cry loudely if the pro democratic supporters of the government start to use power too...

Ready or not, here comes the Civil War.

The same is happening in the Ukraine, The US and France gave a message to the Ukraine stating that the "two sides" should refrain from violence and hold elections as early as possible.

The Ukraine President In order to save his live has left the capital city Kiev and moved to the eastern part of the Ukraine which is the region of his supporters.

The street violence in the Ukraine is about to end, and elections will take place soon, and the out coming result will be accepted.

==================

We don't know whether Thailand has received similar messages from major top countries, but in any event after several months of violent street protests in BKK the time has come to end matters, elections should be started soon again and the outcome has to be accepted by the political parties.

In the meantime the street protesters should return home in order to end matters, and the farmers should get their payments in due course, then all current problems are solved.

The people are ready to rise up and fight this anti democratic fascist movement.

If there is further violence, Suthep and his thugs have no one to blame but themselves for trying to overthrow a democratically elected government.

Don't you get tired of singing the same song? The chick wouldn't even come outside to see "her people" last week . What a joke.

I'll be thrilled when the prob into her deals in the G2G rice pledge are found out and she's ousted from government. Will you be singing the same song then?

Of course there's bias, some here would actually like to see peaceful protests. I see that you are not one of them. What a charming fellow you must be

I'm all for peaceful protests. But not for shutting down a capital city and preventing people from voting. These protests have gone well beyond being peaceful, which is exactly what both sides seem to want.

Strange....substitute the word "Suthep" for the word "Jew" and you could imagine Hilter saying your exact words...oh yeah wasnt he a fascist ?

and substiute the "reds" for "brownshirts" and we seem to be back to the same place

Yes. You can do much the same thing with the word "Thaksin" in many other posts!

Ready or not, here comes the Civil War.

If it comes to that I expect a short one, between those willing going to war for the love of Thaksin and those that do it for the love of their country it will be a very mismatched attendance.

ํYep. Yellows lose,

This would be one time their own corruption will bite the rich elite establishment on the butt, forever they have been buying their sons out of military service as a result the majority of Thai troops are from the populous North and farmers sons. They will not follow the orders to shoot their own,

Also there is a Thai General last name of Shinawatra not long ago said in the press (I do not mess with your family, do not mess with mine) .

Just a word to the wise!

Cheers

I think it's just Tida being aware of the cameras rolling, it's not very convenient to air those things in public.

The reaction from all the public in there says everything that needs to be known about them.

The police can't or won't protect the protesters, it seems that Jatuporn and the UDD are pushing for the army to intervene. I suppose it would divert attention from the rice scheme to a coup, and gavanize the red shirts.

That's the idea, Thaksin desperately needs a civil war now as his only possible chance of ever getting back.

a friend of mine observed an alleged recruitment event in an open restaurant about 9 days ago. Even the stuff was very inconvenient with their presence.

One leader, rather fat, gold, well dressed and 5 youngsters worshiping him like an idol. They also discussed about farang. This was the point when my friend turned around and just looked at them. They fell silent.

it might be worth noting he has NOT resigned? and the protesters have NOT dispersed? you might want to get a bit more 'factual'?
