Back again with another visa question - My wife has been in the UK for almost 30 months and is applying for FLR M. Section 4 of the application states " In this section include any children under the age of 18 who are living with you in the UK and who are applying as your dependants. It is mandatory to complete this section as required. Please note this application will be invalid if you do not" We have a son who is 16 months old, UK born, registered and has a UK passport - Does he need to be included in this section?

My gut feeling is that as he is not applying as our dependant then he doesn't need to be named however question 4.1 asks "Do you and your sponsor have any children together?"

Hope someone can confirm.

I am 99.99% sure that your gut feeling is correct and that as your son is not applying as well then he does not need to be included on the form.

Therefore, unless your wife has any other children applying at the same time as her, Section 4 can be left blank.
