Yes I am far from those markets and the reason why I asked Thaivisa after I searched on google is because I didnt think I can find things like Wood Pellets or your daily sunday morning english newspaper. Thanks for your response though.
wym Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Thai newsprint wouldn't work? If you're that far out what makes you think there'd be a kitty litter delivery service?

higgy01 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Hope this is not a silly reply ,,,,,, but most of the thais i know , especially out in the sticks ,,,,, just use sand ?. We use some sort of stuff that clumps together , brought at the local big c , i believe.
Sheryl Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 An inappropriate post in poor taste has been removed. Yes, sand can be used as a substitute in a pinch and any place that sells cement will also sell it. It won't clump the way the better kitty litters do so cleaning it will be harder, and I've read that sometimes there are mites or other insects in the sand that may cause the cat problems but as a temporary measure it's fine.
schondie Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 I don't live in a place you'd call a throbbing metropolis but even here there's a couple of pet shops that sell 10kg bags of cat litter for around 220 baht. If you live way out in the sticks, you could buy some bags in the nearest "big" town and have it put on the bus or songthaew for delivery to your house.
