Wonderful!! As i said before his colouring is so much like my Jimmijoe.

A few years ago, here in Switzerland, jimmy came home from his usual pottering with a lizard!! It was minus 10 degrees celsius outside. I managed, after freaking out, to throw the lizard outside without it's tail.

To this day i am perplexed about that. We surmised that it was only alive because it stayed stuck to the buildings and the heat.

Look at this mum, makes a change from a bird or a mouse....!!

While I was living in Africa I had two Siamese cats that traveled with me from Chicago and also innumerable semi-feral cats that stayed in my garden. The outdoor cats were great when it came to alerting me to the presence of snakes. They would form up in a reception line and annoy the hell out of the snake until it moved on. On a couple of occasions a cobra made it onto the veranda & rose up with its hood opened up. The indoor Siamese cats alerted me of its presence by doing the 20 metre dash to the furthest bedroom in under 2 seconds, taking out anything in their path.

It was also sort of interesting when it came to insects, the Siamese would consider virtually anything fair game ( and if ingested it would be subsequently regurgitated on my bed), but anything in the way of stinging insects like wasps they seemed innately equipped to identify and would beat a hasty retreat when spotted.

Since my daughter brought home a kitten, the gecko population has been reduced by at least half in my house.

The cat catches and kills all except those that stay on the ceiling.

I kind of like the geckos...

BTW..geckos are not the only thing it catches and kills...post-147745-0-52435900-1393769187_thumb.
