we have recently filled in settlement form and submitted it

my wife was born in thailand has a thai passport , and also she is a british citizen with british passport

as matter of concern when questions keep asking what is my wifes nationality

is it ok for her to state british /united kingdom or is her nationality thai as she was born there

Doesn't she now have dual Nationality so can put either Thai or British or both ?

Edit : Above only applies after she is granted Settlement and applies for Naturalisation as a British citizen ?

or maybe as she is a British citizen she is already a British National according to :

As a dual citizen myself it depends. For paperwork (usually in Thailand) then you put Thai.

In your case as the paperwork is for the British government then simply put British.

There is nothing wrong with having more than one nationality so simply state the one which will give you the most advantage at that particular time.
