Internet provider with short term contracts (6 months only) on the market?

Hi folks,

after finding an apartment an moving in on April 1st, I'd like to have internet in their too, however I cannot find any statements about the length of the contract on 3bb's website for example, I assume it's usually 12 months? What about cancellation fees?

I actually like to have a somewhat fast connection between 6-10 Mb/s as I want to stream some German football games, so an extended mobile plan (my phone can create a hotspot) is not an option.

Anybody has experience with cancelling contracts and knows the fees? Or are their any special contracts for only 6 months?
