A quick scan suggests the government will take the case to the Supreme Court and the outcome will not be known until after the election next year.

It appears if they concede it will impact their stance on immigration which is a political hot potatoe.

A political hot potato, probably; but the government are going after the wrong, but easy, target.

If they lose here and then lose again at the SC, expect them to take it to the ECJ.
