They look great something I plan to do when I get to retirement mode and settled in Loei where I hope the winter time will be cool enough.

Did you bring in the seed potato?

Originating from a potato growing area of Wales I was thinking of using UK late's Maris Peer or Maris Piper as these are grown in the warmer times and harvested mid to late summer.

Yes, I brought them in, unfortunately I am not 100% sure of their names.

Bought them at a farmers market overseas and kept some for planting.

They are small varieties, 1-3 inches long, about a healthy thumb in thickness; for the white ones.

The Purple ones are a around a chicken egg size..

Both have firm flesh, nice texture, excellent flavor.
