UK FLR Visa PEO

I've been looking at UKBA's website for premium appointments and there is appointments for Saturday 3rd May 2014, but the UKBA website shows that the Croydon PEO is only open Monday to Friday, they are also appointments for Saturday 12th April 2014, both of these Saturday appointment are before a bank holiday, has anyone attended a Saturday PEO appointment.

My wife will be applying for FLR(M), she entered the UK on 31/05/2012 and she is eligible to apply 28 days before her two year qualifying period finishes and that will be 03/05/2014 according to timeanddate.com. I'm unsure whether to book this appointment or not, advice needed?

My advice?

Save your money and apply by post.

Only apply in person if she needs her passport back in the next three months.

We want to go to Thailand for an extended holiday, about 2 or 3 months, she prefers to get her new visa before we go, when the biometric card is received, then we will book a flight for the following day, so should be back in Thailand by the 2nd weekend of May.
