I doubt any network that allows its anchors (Hannity & co) to repeatedly call their own president 'moron' and 'the annointed one' is going to be overly concerned about little ol' Greta referring to the inaction of some country on the other side of the globe as 'pathetic'.

Not a great fan of Greta, but at least she's direct and open when she gets a bee in her bonnet.

Thailand should be thankful it's not Aruba - they'd have sued her a hundred times over by now.

This is turning into a bizarro SNL parody: Us defending Fox News!!! giggle.gif

Not when you realize what expat population now looks like in Thailand. Judging by most comments on this board, I see it as perfectly normal.

Glad I am leaving. I can be around old, stodgy, closed minded thinkers same back in US.

Thai authorities are well within rights to be guarded about military radar on a Muslim border!! Only Fox (and their small minded and self serving defenders here on TV). I can hear it now, nextweek it will be - NEWSFLASH, Thailand sharing sensitive flight data with Muslim country. Can they be trusted?

Fox is not news. It never was. Case in point, Thailand is angry at Fox for stated OPINION (actually many)

Typical American/Western attitude. Take an Asian POV and you realise there is a protocol here, releasing it publicly undermines the Malaysian govt and further embarrasses them, not something you want to do to your neighbour. Release it privately, let them deal with it.

We all know Fox, outside of the US no one takes it seriously. It's a parody.

Much as I hate to say it but Fox is right.

They often are. Because of politics, the left do their best to marginalize Fox News by smearing them and dishonestly quoting them out of context, but the truth is that they are often the only major news source in the USA who are actually doing their job. The founding fathers of the USA wanted a press that would keep the government in line, not spin and cover up for them like the MSM do most of the time now for the present administration. Greta got this right and much of the time, on many issues, her colleagues at Fox do too.

Nonsense.

Fox "news" is right ring entertainmet run by Rèpublican strategist, Roger Ailes.

Misinformation is what they are all about.

The Nation uses their format as a model to promote the invisible hand agenda.

Now get back to watching your cartoons and wrestling.

Wrong. Where do you get your news?

As an aviation professional I am disgusted by 99% of media reports on this incident. This lady at Fox news, in keeping with other commentators and so called "experts" are ignorant of the facts and arrogant in their delivery. But this is in keeping with reports of any aviation related story - they consistently get it wrong.

However the best action that the Thai Foreign Ministry could take would be to ignore any media comments - and don't give these any more publicity. It will all be forgotten as soon as the next dramatic event takes place. The Thai Defence and ATC authorities will continue to cooperate with the Malaysians behind the scenes in this and any other related matter - and this is where the facts are.

What would you call a country that sits and watches the whole world virtually, sailing around the Gulf of Thailand for a week before making know that it had spotted the plane? The fact is acknowledged that the plane flew over the Thailand south and it either wasn't picked up by miitary radar or they picked it up and didn't report, "because nobody asked" while their allies were using very expensive assets to search in the Thai backyard.

its not like they would have known that the whole world was looking for this plane , i am sure it was not on any news stations ! duh , nobody asked sounds like they could have even hid something ?

I wouldn't be surprised if Fox tried to link the missing jet to 'Obamacare'. They seem to have a total obsession with that.

Who they think that they are, criticizing Thailand for letting all these countries look in the wrong place for days and wasting millions of dollars and - even worse - the audacity of reporting on the Lie of the Year?

Only thing less credible than Fox News appears to be statements from Thai Government Departments ....... I mean really? "we weren't asked", sounds like the sort of excuse a 5 year old gives.

"... sounds like the sort of excuse a 5 year old gives." or a line out of the Laurel and Hardy movie. The Blockheads:

"Why didn't you tell me you had two legs!?" to which Stan always replies to such questions: "Well, ya didn't ask me."

Anyone ragging on Fox News is not a jerk to me! clap2.gif

Your are correct, a brainless person is not always a jerk, but some of the previous comments are from brainless idiots. We don't have any honorable News stations with courage, but FOX is the only one with any sense at all. The rest are paid communist/ socialist propaganda stations.

As part of the "I don't care as long as it is not concerning me" topic Maybe we can address the fact that That drivers never make space for an Ambulance. I am appaled seeing no one moves and people bravely wait in front of the red light while an ambulance is screaming for passage behind. And what if it were their daughter or son in that ambulance. But when a VIP needs to pass everyone moves kn the side. MAKE WAY FOR AN AMBULANCE.

My observation over the past decade is that the higher the degree of hate and misunderstanding of Fox News = the lower level of IQ, education and general world knowledge. Another good indication of those low levels is the amount of time wasted in this forum making inane statments that nobody cares about. Fox News is the ONLY light of TRUTH in the public media. But it requires intelligence and education to comprehend those truths.

Why am I qualified to make these conclusions? Because I am an educated, intelligent American, with a 247 IQ (average of 5 tests) a JD Law Degree and a PhD in International Trade.

OK, it's the morons' turn to disagree......

I love it when the left get their panties in a bind over Fox news, the only organization that gives an opposing viewpoint among the sea of left-leaning media outlets that are apologists for the Obama Admin and left-leaning organizations throughout the world. and gets more viewers!!..LOVE IT!!

I love it when you rednecks get all self-righteous. It's absolutely hilarious.
