The longer I watch this, the more I see a striking resemblance to another political movement's rise to power in 1930's Europe. Amazing all the Thaivisa experts having an orgasm over this. Didn't see much written by these same exerts over the taxi driver beaten into a coma by PDRC or the under cover police beaten by PDRC guards and then interrogated by that rat- bag monk who set up the stage at Chaeng Wattana. It is not fair to compare a taxi driver or an undercover cop to a monk. Reds are desperate while they watch themselves lose in the political game so they resort to violence, once again. He was accused by red shirts of being PDRC in disguise then got assaulted. Sad thing is plenty of police were present at the scene, but they did nothing - just watched the incident as spectators. It would not have surprised me in the slighted had some fake farmers come in to defend the fake monk from the very real violence being perpetrated against him. Put that to Benny Hill music in fast forward and it typifies the PTP logic in motion. Where in the monk's code of conduct does it allow berating and making impolite remarks. Reports of monks molesting children, selling drugs, etc. are commonplace in Thailand. This monk was not acting like a monk & therefore was not treated like a monk. I suppose he was a monk from the Luang Pu Issara school of monk hood, i.e. leading a heavily armed group of terrorists to break the law on a daily basis. I'm sure he wasn't alone.... that old lady with a walking stick in the shadows looked threatening for a start. She could have hobbled over and got involved at any moment.
