Mentioned this to my FIL who went straight up onto the roof with a coat hanger, roll of duct tape and some vice grips.

This ought to be interesting. tongue.png

Initially, which means we do not know, the voltage will be 110 volts.

What a fantastic idea!

If you decide to do this, then of course you choose a lower voltage half the current voltage in Thailand.

Quite stupid.......

However............

It does give you the means to sell a lot of transformers.

It gives you the chance to buy the equipment "over the counter"

And later you can try to up the voltage, Thai style.

Make sure the system is turn off while you are in the shower!

Oh...and now you can derive your electric car forever without ever needing to charge it too!

Way ahead of You...

We have had it up here in Mae On for almost a year now and working well.

Its all part of the new Community Wi-HP- CHP (Wi-Fed Combined Heating and Power)utilizing the local High Pressure underground steam "springs"and incorporating the Hydro from the re-cycle water supply/pumped unit (solar powered..of course)direct from the aquifer... fed from our mountain dam.

We also have a large spoor of methane gas which provides free cooking and word is that there is a proposal to start a "fracking" operation just behind the house but need permission from the National Parks authority.

Good possibility we will then have a refined (also free)LPG supply which will also be good for our converted Hilux/s

Free Electricity,Heating /hot water and gas for the Bar-b-Q......if only I could get abetter broadband hook ..that would be it....aiming for nil greenhouse gas emission.

Just need to let the cows know ..TIT

This is great. As the receiving end is using induction to charge the mobile devices, the same induction will effect to all loops made of metal.

This means that I don't anymore have to wear "Thailand with elephants" t-shirts to show off to my friends that I have been to Thailand, during the visits on home country. Instead, while in a bar, I can take my shirt off and show the burn marks where my necklace used to be, before it melted away.

Why not install Wireless Electricity the same day that Thailand will switch from left side driving to right side driving. I heard about that this time last year. A couple of great ideas up there with the elevator to space.

Wireless power distribution was always my dream, any indication of the power levels being proposed? The equipment that was experimented with in the US would not be permitted under modern public health rules (something to do with frying the brain).

Yes, this sounds like Tesla's coil. It will be interesting how they are going to charge for the electricity

I read somewhere (can't find the link right now) that there's a seven-foot antenna and a converter available for electric cars, From memory, the cost is about 19,000 baht which includes installation.

Yep, but my company specialises in the latest antenae. Ours (our own brand) is only 500mm wide and cost 10 000baht, installed. PM me anyone who is interested and I will give the first 20 for free.

This is very nice, but I'm still waiting for my conversion kit for left-hand drive on my truck from last year, sheesh!

Sorted.

Surely they forgot ;

Blood Group,

Inside Leg Measurement,

Distance from ass to Elbow in Metric,

Notarized Receipts from Government Sponsored Massage Joints and Go Go Bars.

Why be so difficult with foreigners when with just a little intelligence and effort they could be bloody impossible.

Wonder who is raking it i n from this hair brained scheme?

Fake! If it was wireless, where would you plugin your voltage converter? Into the air? This is just a poorly written article and I'm sure the truth has something to do with wireless charging stations for phones.

This would be one of the greatest inventions of mankind, on par with the wheel, condoms and the internet. I bet a lot of Thai bashers will crawl back in bed in shame!

The technology works and works very well. However it is not widely used due to the huge EMF's created. So if anyone thinks power lines can be re-placed they are wrong unless everyone is happy to live in an EMF bath. Just stand under high voltage electricity lines and the EMF is easy to read. Never heard of people getting cancer living under HV lines? Why implement a 110v system? Thailand runs on 220/230v. Oh I forgot 7/11 is in on the act. However most phones and laptops will take either.

Bwaaaaa haaaaa haaaa haaaaa yeah right! They should have never been allowed to have electricity at all, in any form. Thye know just enough about any modern technology to be dangerous and that's about it.
