Yeah, can do that but I need a new TV and was hoping for a stand alone solution.

If you are in the Chiang Mai area you are welcome to come to my house and try a Samsung Smart T.V. which is connected to the Internet.

Message me if you are interested.

Appreciate your kind offer, however I am in BKK / Chonburi, do you use I player?

There is no problem to connect Smart TV via VPN...

Thx, any chance you could elaborate or point me in the right direction?

I would be very interested in your solution, post or PM me if you could,

Thanks, very useful, do you know if its still current?

Excellent, many thanks, I was just looking at that funnily enough. What speed is your connection to get a good result?

I take it you have the TV set up so it thinks its in the UK to download the necessary iplayer app in the hub?

No I don't use this, I use Expattv to watch UK TV https://www.thaiexpat.tv/index.php but you have to connect your PC to the TV to watch it, or buy the Android Box,

Ps: And No I am not affiliated or work for them

PsPs: If I was you I would try the Smart DNS solution for a month to see if it suits you, I used Hola (https://hola.org/ (which is free)) before, but I didn't like the buffering, for example watching 5 minutes and then followed by 2-3 minutes of buffering.
