Truevisions keeps cutting out

Featured Replies

Is anyone else having this problem? It's especially bad on CNN (channel 164) - every 30 seconds or so the signal cuts out for a few seconds. Tonight it's been happening almost continuously. Last night it was happening on CNN, HBO Hits and TCM.

True just advise to re-boot the box, which I've done, but it's had no effect.

If you are on TrueVision SATELLITE, check the Q (Quality) level of the Program Stream you're receiving on for that channel.

The symbol quality needs to remain above 55 in order for the receiver to convert and correctly interpret the digital data stream. 75-90 is optimum.

Note: usually pressing one of the color or info buttons on the remote will pop-up an info screen.

If the dish or LNBF is out of alignment, or the signal path is being blocked (like by vegetation growth) that will decrease the amount of signal received.

Thanks. I'll give it a go. I don't have my own dish; it's a communal condo dish.

Does the same to me on True cable system. You know customer support here, if it doesn't work, reboot. If that fails - repeat.

Same problem for me on ADSL
