I'm sure there are many lawyers in the PDRC group, if this article is pure fabrication, they should demand retraction of the article, public apology and even damages from the writers. At the very least I would expect to see Suthep making a statement condemning the mistranslation of his speech, etc. If we don't hear anything from him or his lawyers, I will take it that this article is at least close to what he said. Also when I see speakers strike that pose in the OP, and standing next to statues, it fills me with primal fear, and reminds me that I haven't had spaghetti in too long.

I'd like to know what you think isn't true. People keep disparaging the article as spurious but haven't said what exactly they think Khao Sod have been made up. And why would they fabricate - or deliberately mistranslate - in an article in English to make red shirts mad? Which red shirts? Perhaps Khao Sod had Thaivisa in mind. Perhaps they thought if they hoked up some sufficiently inflammatory Suthep statements, this hitherto "silent force" of farang red shirts would be outraged enough to prove a decisive factor in this confrontation? What a dasdardly clever fiction! They must have realized that some of the ex-SAS boys down in Patts, not to mention the retired Vietnam vets, grizzled with years of ferocious jungle warfare, would be able to provide commander Jatuporn with invaluable military strategies during the final battle!

Hes been saying this stuff for months. This article is clearly written to be more damning towards suthep than other publications but anyone with a brain can read that BP article and see that the essential quote of him claiming power is the same. He wants to seize the govt, appoint his ppl in the govt, appoint the peoples council, then apparently have elections once he thinks he has "reformed" things enough where dems wont lose.

We see members of the caretaker government forecasting violence if legal decisions go against them. Newsreporters using ''informed'' sources for information on top secert agreements/plans. The opposition forecasting violence, and mayham if things are not done as per their playbook and to their satisfaction. It seems anyone with access to a microphone, news print, or a parrot can throw out just about any theory that involves discrediting their opponent, who they refuse to talk with or meet personally.

The village gossip may have more insight and better therories as to what is being said and is taking place than the whole lot of those being quoted and thosee doing the quoting. It is virtually impossible to be able to consider opposing viewpoints, if you only keep company with those who agree/support you and your ideas.
