t.s
Wow, all the mentions for U2, Coldplay and Chili Peppers are incredible. All three are bands that I really like. I suppose its just an indicator of how very mainsream your tastse are. They keep serving it up and you keep buying it. I would certainly agree that U2 are overrated, over exposed and overpaid. As for the Chili's lets just say i have grown very tired of them, but it happened years ago. Other love to hates include: James Bond -- I mean could I please turn on the TV once without being subject to his rare variety of musical sinusitis? chaiyapoon
I find many bands overated.A lot more do one or two good singles or indeed albums, then loose it and produce rubbish for years.Bands or artists I have little or no time for include: The Darkness U2 Linkin Park Coldplay Morrissey Prince Bee Gees Paul Simon I could add many more if I realy thought about it! chonabot
Wow, all the mentions for U2, Coldplay and Chili Peppers are incredible. All three are bands that I really like. I think they are all good bands, but are sticking to a formula that allows them to make dosh safely. U2 and Chilli peppers were originally ground breakers, now they are elevator music (IMO)

Postie
I've always found Carlos Santana's body of work disappointing. A bit like a bike/car, where the gearing and grunt just don't quite Propel you into that adrenalin buzz. I liked Abba's production. Eye/Ear candy.Michael Jackson gets on my t@ts. But Templman and Quincy Jones really created some guts to it. I listen to Beau and Parn. I like the sound of "puss" when they're taking deep breaths Alot of people sure have hung on and raked it in! I can see the Beatles aggravation. Things work on loads of different levels.
