Certificate of Good Conduct aka Police Check

Featured Replies

Anyone know if this is possible for me to get in Phuket at any one of the police stations? Or is this only something that can be done in BKK?

if you are talking about a police clearance as far as a criminal record is concerned

You would have to be a Thai national to get one here

If for work of any kind including voluntary you need one from your home country

If I recall correctly it's done by DSI. If the DSI still have the office at the Phuket airport, it might be a good starting point to get further information.

Police clearances are done by Special Branch at Bangkok Police HQ for any one of any nationality.

Entry is from Henry Dunant Drive. The cost is Bt100 and takes about 45 days. You can either have the results mailed to you, mailed to a nominated third party or go and collect them.

You should be able to get the papers at the district stations where they will also do the fingerprinting.

I'm sure you can get in BKK on Khao San Rd., for a nominal fee. Colonel Klink-Somchai signature verifies it as authentic.

Had a guy recently refuse to get one for me......something to hide me thinks.

Many teachers are required to get them for future employ....I know a guy that went to work in Mexico and the school there required the last 5 years worth of police clearances in whatever country lived and worked...one was Thailand so he had to get it from here....so second post about being Thai only is as normal...frogshit.
