Import duty on household goods when moving from Malaysia to Thailand

Recommended Posts

I'm planning to move from Malaysia to Thailand. Most of my belongings are obtained/produced in Malaysia.

Both Malaysia and Thailand are AESAN members and have tax-agreements.

Will my belongings be taxed under the lower Common Effective Preferential Tariff (CEPT) scheme (0-5%) that would normally apply on imports from ASEAN countries or do I have to pay full import duties?
