i ask because i like to check the rainfall amounts on here http://www.tmd.go.th/en/archive/archive.php then click on Daily Observation Report. its saying we only got a couple of mm in town and at the airport. is that right?

Virtually no rain at Ao Por, which is at the same latitude as the airport.

Over the past weeks we have had quite a many rainy nights and almost every night huge lightning shows.

Not enough rain here in Kata to impact ground water levels. Much the same in Patong. Just light/medium rain for short periods.

No rain here. It's impressive how localised these rains are here. Weather forecasts can only predict the possibility of rains in certain degree. At the moment the rain radar seem to be the only one, which can give an short term information where it's going to rain.
