I think you've missed the point. No one is actually expecting troops to parachute into Bangkok. While it may be true that as an oversimplified, general rule most special forces learn how to jump out of a plane, all Airborne Soldiers are not necessarily special forces. At least in the US.

I have always disliked PTP (ability wise especially) and the Democrats, but the PTP were voted in so you make your bed you lie in it. My posting position is governed mainly by my dislike for Suthep, as yours is for TS.

I think if there was a coup there would be discontent, but not enough to cause a civil war, it would be small and isolated if that.
