1st Class Insurance.

Featured Replies

How much is a fair price for Motorbike insurance for a new PXC? I was quoted 7.860 Baht for a year. What do others think?

They should have left this post in the bike section IMHO

I think you would get way more answers

I pay 9k a year for a Ninja 250

Did you mean PCX? If so..........

I think since your on a Honda your best price would be from Tokyo Marine

who insure only Honda's & seem to be the best prices I have heard

Good Luck

i pay around 9200 thb for my cbr650f through Tokio Marine so definitely 7860 thb is a steep price for a pcx.

You can ask Tokio Marine 1st class insurance to your dealer but not sure if Tokio Marine is available for small bikes through Honda dealers. it might be only for bikes from Honda Bigwings,

Thanks mate, I have been advised by another poster in a PM to avoid Tokyo Marine. The best prices may not always mean the best service, but at the end of the day insurance companies are like banks, cannot be trusted. With me starting to do road trips, it's best that I get some sort of insurance.

My CBR250 was 6,400 the first year, then 4,300 the second year.

The only thing is that they have the total value of it listed as 44,000. Which to be fair is about all it's worth. giggle.gif

I see....

I personally use MSIG because folks have said they are quick to pay & process claims

Also they have an office in CM where I live

I have never had to test them

But I have found them efficient mailing me notices at end of year

with new policy info etc.

Tokyo Marine told me they do not insure motorbikes, though one poster told me to avoid them. This crazy country again, I know T M do insure motorbikes.

Contact AA Insurance Brokers (Thailand). You can email and they speak/write English...........thumbsup.gif
