Hi

Me and my fiancé are currently applying for a fiancé visa.

We have been together for 2 years with me visiting her 3 times for 3 weeks followed by her coming to the Uk for 5 months on a visitors visa . We then both returned to Thailand together to live with her family for 1 month.

I have a few questions but first this is what I know to save any one having to type long answers.

1. I exceed the financial requirement

2. She needs to take an English test

3. She needs a TB test

4. I meet the accommodation requirement

5. We have no issues proving relationship.

6. I know it is more expensive this way but we both want to have the big wedding in Thailand in a couple of years.

I was wondering if someone could clarify the following?

1. Although I meet the financial requirement this process has been very expensive. When proving the ability to support her before we marry do I have to already have the money in the bank or can I base this on future monthly income? (If I have to have the money in the bank I will have to save again after paying for the visa, flights etc)

2. Is it advisable to pay for the 1 week intensive course at Vantage Siam if her English is good but she lacks confidence?

3. What amount of evidence is required to prove we intend to marry? Will letters of intent to book services for the wedding be enough?

4. How long from when she takes the English test and TB test will we have to wait for the certificates?

5. Anyone know a translator for birth certificate and her free to marry document which we can post the documents too? ( is there any other documents I have forgotten?)

6. If required to speed things up I need to take a small loan out, how will this effect the application if I show I can pay it back within a few months?

Sorry for the long post

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance
