GODZILLA....Or, should I say, Godblimey the lizard is back.

GODZILLA....Or, should I say, Godblimey the lizard is back.

With Brian Cranston and Ken Watanabe being the only two actors properly known to me, this film had a facination for me more so than the last Godzilla with Mathew Broderick.

Again, it seems that all this started with Nuclear tests being launched somewhere in The Pacific Ocean. Now, here is a bit that was vague.

Was Godzilla a part of the test they did and have they been keeping him on ice because, low and behold, there are two new monsters that are threatening the world...Mutos ( I think ) Very vague.

Anyhoo, apart from decimating everything in their path, the Mutos have the power to send off an E.M.P (elctro magnetic pulse ) which will kill anything run by electronics... dead.

So, it seems, it is up to Godzilla, played wonderfully by that old soldier himself, Bruce Forsythe ( they both are the same age ) to save the day and kill off thd Mutos.

Obviously, there is an amount of C.G.I involved but, I enjoyed the plot better than the last effort and the acting was more realistic than just Hollyweird.

The only thing that spoilt it for me was the very fake, even by C.G.I standards, monsters.

Godzilla looked like he was made with playdoe and the Mutos looked like a throw back from Predator meets Alien. Obviously, not a large budget.

What next. Bring back Mothra I hear you cry.
