djjamie
It is amazing how much more effective the RTP have become since Adul Saengsingkaew was moved to an inactive post. One might be so presumptuous as to assume that Adul was actually repressing the police from arresting criminals from a certain side of the political divide. I for one am glad that there are less killers on the street under this Junta and hope the police and army continue there good efforts so far. This highlights how ineffective CAPO were. Well, they were effective at one thing…Threatening the courts, the NACC and the PDRC. The wind if change is refreshing. Yes Jamie, but don't you in your most private moments wish that at least once a week Chalerm was here to spring a good one on us? No, just kidding, wonder where he got to? Where did he get to. Let me have a guess because the General is a professional. Unike Sherlock Chalerm who is able to solve the Akeyuth murder case before the police have even investigated it and spouts his conclusions to the Thai media quicker than Plodrasop can call environmentalists garbage we can be assured the General has more self control than that and will be methodical in his approach to the "Chalerm Case" and what a special case it is. We will hear what is happening after the conclusion of any investigation. Remember that under martial law one can only be held for a maximum of 7 days unless there is evidence against them for any crimes committed. In fact calls to reopen the Akeyuth case were suppressed by the police yesterday unless new evidence emerges at which time it will reopen. Why? Because it is believed by some it was a politicaly motivated murder. I think it might be time for the "mystery" CCTV footage to surface showing men in uniform…..Maybe, just maybe that may bring Chalerm back into the spotlight….But then that might also be why the General is still holding him. 7 days is the limit and how long has it been now? Why is his son still in holding? BTW - This is only my opinion and is by no means fact. Just like thaksin when he stated the NACC asked thaksin for a bribe in 1999. Him, like me are planting a seed. Let the evidence make that seed grow, unlike thaksins which withered and died. Rest assured though just like the swift process of justice being witnessed here in Trat we will see it across the board indiscriminate against both sides of the political divide. I for one make absolutely no excuses for any PDRC murderers or thugs and I am sure the General will arrest them all. Below are all the suspects in the Trat terrorist attack. Not one of which was able to be identified under CAPO or the PTP.
Popular Post Thait Spot
Under the new rules for what the press can say after the coup. Expect to hear that all things that have happened during the last 2 years were the fault of Red Terroists. Expect many more arrests and expect the anti-democratic cheerleaders on TVF to cheer each one. Does anybody know if the father of the children who were murdered in Bangkok has been freed from re-education yet? Personally speaking, I like the new rules. There has been an end to the sick b@astards out shooting unarmed people and throwing grenades that kill kids. Why don't you condemn these people instead of inventing fact before the event?

Popular Post djjamie
I see there going after the reds hammer and tong, but leaving the PDRC killers alone. Looking after there own I suppose Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app Well lets see. There were over 28 dead and over 700 injured in 6 months. Over 20 dead were PDRC supporters. There were nearly daily grenade attacks INSIDE PDRC rally sites. There were no grenade attacks INSIDE Red Shirt rally sites. INSIDE PDRC rally sites the attacks were so constant they set up sandbags and anti grenade netting. INSIDE red shirt rally sites they set up nothing. Yesterday the police searched a canal next to a PDRC rally site and found a body and weapons. They didn't have too, but they did out of concern for the population that wanted it inspected. That will be investigated as well. So when one side is committing most of the crimes then logic dictates that the investigations will be somewhat lop sided.
Cuchulainn
The Red apologists seem to be quiet in this thread. They bleat on about democracy, when in fact their armed militia were spreading terror. If these scum are guilty, death penalty is the message that needs to sent out. Don't worry. The usual pair will be on soon (Pr & F4) bleating about democracy. Wonder how they'll twist it this time.

Benmart
Death penalty for any of these cowardly <deleted> scum that killed the children.I support justice that is meted out by the courts. I am not the judge nor would I join in with a group hurrah that calls for death. That decision belongs to the Thais and a Thai court, be it civil or military. Sure, ultimately it's the Courts that will decide the punishment. Unlike you, I would however join in with a group hurrah that calls for the death penalty for trash that kills innocent children. The people involved in these killings over the last few years are terrorist scum, nothing more, nothing less.

Perhaps the families of the murdered children should be allowed to mete out the "justice" to the killers of their children. A long jail term just isn't enough as far as I am concerned. You might just find that some members of CAPO were part of the chain of command that ordered these attacks - we shall see I'd like to see the current authorities exposing the whole command structure once it is established and those responsible brought to justice promptly And on another note - still no sign of Charlerm and his sons (unless I missed something) I wonder were all the good intelligence is coming from - hint hint Edited June 5, 2014 by smedly
newcomer71
Well done! And culprits must face full jail terms. Why should Thaksin use his own money when PT had access to the treasury ? I would suspect most if not all that has been used to fund the red shirt arm of the PT Govt would have somehow been donated by the taxpayer. siampolee
Yes indeed Dartmoor prison. However I have it on good authority that Chalerm is currently being held by the customs department until such time as the excise duty on his body alcohol content is paid. It is also said albeit via that infamous third hand that in the event of Chalerms decease he cannot be cremated as the danger from the excessive alcohol content in his cadaver would when ignited in the crematorium blow it to pieces and probably level the temple too.

Baerboxer
wife tells me today the Kohn Kean folks that were caught with arms had been chatting on Line with Taksin. When Taksin found out they were caught he stopped chatting with them. They felt dumped so they decided to tell the Army. Turns out Taksin was telling them every step that they should take. Its all over Thai social media today. Surprised it has not leaked out into English press yet. Line keeps your chat for months; i know as i used it to provide supporting evidence for my wifes visa. I haven't seen this. But, if there is evidence like this then it's mega. I did see that org charts were found when they caught them showing the big boss at the top. Maybe the authorities are checking all this and getting everything in order before it's released into the public domain. It's hard to believe they would've been dumb enough to use Line or Skype or email and say / write very specific things. But who knows? This won't be reported in the BBC until there is absolutely no alternative. It will be suppressed or condemned as a rumor for as long as possible! Also, it it is true, then I can imagine Thaksin will be unwelcome in certain countries like UAE.

At least some of us can admit that both reds & yellows are capable of this crap seems the reds cant get the words to come out and admit it. I can understand it.... the red camp have been totally humiliated over the past few weeks, they have been publicly humbled, they have lost stitloads of face and to be perfectly honest, If I had the ability, I would have them hunted down, arrested, jailed for a few years and deported as terrorist sympathisers. Lots of room in the Antarctica and they could build an ice palace for Thaksin complete with a chapel to worship him in. Jatuporn could be the high mouth piece.
