Thanks steven missus has contacted the office in Phuket and has arranged to visit them tomorrow, they have said they will fix it if they can, if not they will arrange repair in Bangkok.
June 11, 201411 yr I have a Nuvi 550 for my motorcycle, (waterproof) and have had to send it to Garmin Taiwan for repairs as they couldn't repair them in Thailand. I have had it for many years and have had to get it repaired 2 times now. The last time was only 1 month ago. Maybe they can repair some models is Thailand.

June 12, 201411 yr We bought a Garmin for our sales rep, b****y hopeless piece of s*%t. Google maps on HTC and Samsung a lot lot better.
