I need to call home to the Netherlands.

What is the cheapest/best way to call with mobile TO mobile?

I have a DTAC/Happy simcard.

I know there are many "addons" like 008/009/001 and surely things also change now and then.

I can not use Skype or anything

004 to mobile is 10 Thb per min

  • Dial access code 004 = making international call through the carrier, namely dtac Network Co., Ltd
  • Dial access code 001 or 009 = making international call through the carrier, namely CAT Telecom PCL.
  • Dial access code 007 or 008 = making international call through the carrier, namely TOT PCL.

This post is a bit old but most of the links are still valid so it could help.

Thank you guys/girls,

I did make the call to my dying dad, well could be 1 week/month/year,

anyway I used the 004 (found a DTAC official link on the Google search, did not before I posted the question), hense the question.

Here is the link: http://www.dtac.co.th/en/postpaid/services/004.html

Call went great 15 minutes to Holland, mobile to mobile - 10 baht a minute.

Called for about 15 minutes, costs about 150 baht, just a 004 to Holland as advertised, 10 baht per minute.

Hope other DTAC users can use the info

It might make sense to add, that you'll have to add 008, when using AIS.

I asked about DTAC and found it, so why blame me for not adding 008,

which I did in the first post and other poster did also.

GOD, just a poster who has to respond to anything,

6684 posts, get a live, will you.

With this reply I also UN-followed, so write all the crap you daily/hourly/minutely posters want.

6684 posts from sirchai, how many where usefull????????????????????????????????????????????

@Ron

I think sirchai, just wrote that to be complete, so 004 for Dtac and 008 for Ais / 12 call

Try a calling app like rebtel. Much cheaper than the local providers. Also, local phone is a good one, at about 1 baht per minute.

Mike, what do you mean by "Also, local phone is a good one, at about 1 baht per minute".

Which providers etc etc

Would really like to know as I regularly need to phone "Home"

Edit: // added PS

PS: do you mean by any chance local land line ? 1 thb per minute to mobile seems very cheap, but I do hope to hear what you mean. Thx

There is a phone app called localphone. Works best on a tablet or ipad. also look into rebtel. You put $10 into the accounts, and it lasts for quite a long time. I used to use it to call Thailand from the US. I think you can also use it from here to all back there.
