Pessimist - The Glass Is Half Empty

Me - Who's Been Drinking My Beer?

Optimist - A man who believes things will not get any worse

Definitely half full.

Plus ya can keep your greener grass on the other side. It isn'isn't.

Plus If the greener grass is on the other side of the fence, it's the job of somebody else to cut it

My glass is 1/2 full.

Was before I came to Thailand.

Despite being here (on and off) over the past 6 years (ish) ... still is 1/2 fullish.

Thailand is a lark, full of fun and opportunity ... realise this ... embrace this!

Beautiful woman, cheep beer, a different Culture ... that is a double edged sword.

I was happy when I came here ... I'm even happier now ... biggrin.png

Honey ... no, I don't play Thai Visa ... yes, I'm washing the nappies now!

Pessimistic Optimist just about covers it for me.........................wink.png

Always hope for everything to work out for the best, but don't underestimate the power of Sod's law.

Optmist, but try some of these:

The project manager says the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

The realist says the glass contains half the required amount of liquid for it to overflow.

And the cynic... wonders who drank the other half.

The worrier frets that the remaining half will evaporate by next morning.

The entrepreneur sees the glass as undervalued by half its potential.

The engineer says the glass is over-designed for the quantity of water.

The computer programmer says the glass is full-empty.

OK, lazy day!

Definitely a glass-half-full believer, myself. thumbsup.gif

Although my waistline seems determined to cram-in more than the full glass-full !

It's like Cadbury's milk-chocolate, "a glass and a half in every bar", but they don't say what's the capacity of the glass ! rolleyes.gif

Its all a state of mind. You make life what it is. I use a glass for drinking and nothing else....smile.png

Never understood just why being a pessimist (glass half empty) was considered worse than being an optimist (glass half full).

Most of the optimists I know are always feeling let down and depressed, whilst the pessimists seem definitely happier.

Think about it. The optimist is either justified in his thinking, or, let down when things don't work out the way they thought.

The pessimist is either justified in his thinking, or, pleasantly surprised.

I'm proud to be a pessimist.

Not only that, but, it appears that pessimists live longer, too.
