Very good at 99 baht a pint can.

I'm not sure if selling more of it will actually make them keep it in stock. More likely it means they will never stock it again......

LION STOUT
  • BEER TYPEStout
  • ALCOHOL BY VOLUME (ABV)8.8%

The dark caramel, large dense headed brew, with its 8.8% alcoholic content, is unique due to its sweet notes of chocolate and coffee interspersed into a foundation of dark roasted barley. Symbolic black to denote leadership, power, focus and strength, is dominant in the labeling as the lion journeys in the twilight unafraid, unbowed and unchallenged.

Fantastic beer. A tastier and stronger Guinness.

Great taste and cheap as well. However, I can no longer find it at Villa, though I know Mikkeller sell it in its bottle shop and Brew and White Beer'd (CDC) stock it too.

Even after 1 beer, you can get a little giddy.

If only more people knew about it, could be very popular indeed.

Hi,

Thanks for supporting Lion :)

Villa Market will have it again soon in cans. Just some minor issues with Lion changing the barcode without informing us (the importer). We are also expanding to more branches.

Please be patient :)

Best regards,

Jakob

Sad to see that Lion Stout has disappeared from Villa. Any news Jamora?

Are you still distributing it? Where else is it sold in Bangkok?

It is the best value beer sold in Thailand. In my humble opinion, there are better beers sold here and there are cheaper beers sold here but there are no cheaper better beers sold here.

Thanks!

I like it enough that I paid 150 baht per can to have 8 cans delivered yesterday from Wishbeer. 130 per can plus tax and delivery. Still worth it, I think. But I was in the mood for a Lion Stout.

8.8%....lol its Tennents Super.

Not for me thanks!

It's not a session beer, I grant you!

My head gets way too fuzzy on that stuff...not for me.
