peterkeip Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I would like to teach German at government Schools or universities in Isan. What kinds of documents are required ? I am 48 and got a TEFL-Certificate and 4 years of experience of teaching German/English at language schools. Do you think it´s possible to get employed without a Bachelor or Master degree ? Recently I got to know about a new law in Thailand (from August 12th) which contains: TEFL-teachers will not get a work-Permit/business-visa any longer. Only Bachelor/Master degree will be accepted. Is that right ? I also worry about different regulations in Germany and Thailand: in Thailand teachers used to get retired when they were 60, in Germany 65 !. It seems to be difficult to fill this 5-years-gap: Income, health/social security. Thank you for your advice in advance
