I was looking (before Song Kran) for a chest freezer, looked all over and eventually bought a brand new one at Makro (the Jomtien one) as the price difference between a 2nd hand one and a new one was negligible, but maybe you find a good / cheap one.

Bloody hell. You guys have got to have the worst timing. I had a Sanyo 9Q sitting around unused for two years - got fed up and sold it dirt cheap to a worker four days ago. I could have sold it you for a little more and made a bigger contribution to the Wit Restoration and Rehabilitation Fund.
