In 13 years, Pipop estimates having spent more than THB4 million

Close to baht 2 million at todays happy rates.

What a strange thing to say.

International rates have nothing to do with anything here.

I think he means the 80 baht fixed price now instead of the arbitrary scalping of the past.

I don't believe his lottery tickets over the years only yielded him 10% return.  Why all my in-laws and Thai friends talk like they win all the time.  giggle.gif.pagespeed.ce.AcGRO3FsZu.gif  I guess that's why they always buy more lottery tickets.giggle.gif.pagespeed.ce.AcGRO3FsZu.gif   Yea, this guy is just unlucky.

The second biggest corruption in Thailand -- the Lottery.

Companies, three companies, pay for the tickets ahead of time.  Less than half are sold.

Anyone want to venture a guess how many times those three companies -- supposedly selling lottery tickets -- have won the lottery?  It's legal, of course, they paid for the tickets......

Yeah, right.  This is one of hundreds of examples of how the current push to get rid of corruption is a very selective, uneven effort, and ineffective to boot.

Well lets face it, lotto is gambling,  so where does this sit with the police, just thought I'd remind them after their piss poor effort  during the soccer world cup B/S.coffee1.gif

They're fine with it.  It's legal.
