Thai Immigration guidelines for inspection of foreigners on visa exempt entries.

Featured Replies

Do they check every people for tickets back home and other things ??? I think very long queues on the immigration counter.........

No they will not be asking everybody. Only those that fit a profile they have set. Most people will be stamped in without questions.
Yep, I flew into Swampy on Friday the 8th, my third entry on visa exempt within the last 8 months.

It was 4pm, immigration was pretty quiet, I was standing behind a family who had not either fully completed their arrival/ departure form or had some small issue. A second officer came up to the counter, said something to his fellow workmate then proceeded to open another booth and gestured me to him.

He did a quick check of my form, my passport, stamped the visa exemption in, took my pic, smiled and sent me on my way

As a genuine tourists I think there's nothing to worry about.

There was no request to show any other documentation.

Leaving was just as easy, luckily I had a fast track as I was flying business, was through security and immigration in under 3 minutes.
