Taxis Back at Ubon Airport?

Featured Replies

GF talked to a taxi driver yesterday about the situation they have had regarding picking up people there and he said they were allowed back into the airport to pick up passengers anyone have more info regarding this?

If noone has an informed answer, best to ring them up and ask re whatever additional info it is that you want to know.

Yes, they have been back inside the airport since the coup. I'm just not sure how permanent this is...

Arrived this morning on TG and did not see them on the airport grounds. I did see about 7 taxis out the gate.

Its confirmed, taxis are back at the terminal. Indefinitely. The taxi line is located at the start of the terminal (the end nearest the airport gate).

A max of 20 taxis are allowed in at a time, but more can be called in if those run out. And there's no extra airport charge. This evening we took one to The Outside Inn- cost 34 Baht vs. the 200 Baht private car hire from the terminal used to cost.
