Unfortunately they relatively recently closed down their retail operations in Thailand.

It seems there are several of these new money transfer companies popping up: TransferWise, Azimo, WorldRemit, CurrencyFair.

Never used them myself, but might be handy for some TV users. There was an article on them on BBC News recently.

Most of them have apps, so you can send money via your iPhone.

I have used Transferwise, but they are closed for thai baht. (maybe it had to do with the HSBC thing mentioned earlier....)

was a great service !

Currencyfair is more complicated and fees are almost near a normal bank transfer.

Azimo & wordremit are new to me.
