1400 children sexually exploited in UK town Rotherham: report

If this can go unnoticed and unattended to for so long in England, think about how bad it must be in this part of the world.

From the OP these attacks were not unnoticed, but deliberate actions were taken to suppress & hinder investigations. As an earlier post stated those responsible across all organisations should be investigated & if sufficient evidence gained prosecuted and found guilty, severe sentencing. None of this BS "I'm sorry, I've resigned".

The cruelties mentioned in the OP are practised worldwide, in all societies, no matter the religion. As an example look at the countries that produce the greatest volume of child pornography and the demographics of the buyers of the content; the very large majority are not Muslims.

The current Commissions in Australia on child sexual abuse has uncovered abuse of thousands of children going back decades that was and is systematically covered up e.g. abusers case files refused handover to investigators by you know who. On the other side on the coin examples of what goes on in Muslim societies is covered in a fair amount of detail at:

With great timing an line paper in West Yorkshire is reporting a man with a South Asian name possibly Hindu (Anjan) charged with carrying out 268 sexual assaults on buses. He's from Heckmondwike. The local printed version part of the Yorkshire Post group, would just say a man was charged.

Is there any surprise considering the issues of rape and violrnce towards women on the sub continent?

I work with a number of Pakistanis. None of them are Muslim, although one is Ahmadiyya and the Muslims say it's not a part of Islam. The others are Christian. So, I am not sure why the finger is being pointed at a particular religion. The problem happens everywhere regardless of religion or geo-political boundary.

The main problem is not who does it, it is how it is reported and dealt with. In this case, and it would seem in a number of other instances (Christian Whites, like Jimmy S and Co.), there has been less than aggressive enforcement of the laws. Protection, instead of being given to the victims, has been accorded to the perpetrators.

The BBC used to use the blanket term Asian till the Sikhs complained loudly enough, which they had every reason to do seeing as many Sikh girls have fallen prey to these reptiles.

Now the fallback position is to mention nationality not religion, though only one religion is 'misused' to justify such crimes.

It,s been going on for a long time in many towns in northern England where there is a huge influx of Asian,s they regard many white girls as trash....................that is the simple truth and the authorities have known about it but because of PC are afraid to do anything except pass the buck/turn a blind eye sad.png

Read The Guardian report

http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/aug/26/rotherham-sexual-abuse-children

It makes dreadful reading.

Known since 2005. good grief

Other media have stories of children collected from school by Taxi Drivers. No teacher noticed then?.

And Dewsbury/Leeds/Bradford/Leicester/Birmingham for a start?

Will anyone actually DO anything? or will we just have Enquiries/Commissions/Reports?

I fear too, that parental neglect plays a great part. I suppose the majority of the population of Rotherham and other places are now too poor to look after their children?

Talk about a fractured society. And people ask me why we don't take the children 'home'?!!

I was back home in Dewsbury the year after the London bombs. Two them were from Dewsbury, they went to the same mosque where still to-day non muslims are chased away if trying to photograph it. The atmosphere was terrible. Up in Thornhill at my old local, and my old mates who had been very left wing Labour voters were now voting BNP. Very bitter about the Labour party. It was all down to the muslims taking over the town. These were the same people who extracted the urine when I stopped voting :Labour as it lurched left. As I left my sister and she asked when would I visit again, I said if she wanted to see me, she would be doing the visiting

And on it goes. When is the west going to wake up and deal with the real problem instead of hiding their heads in the PC sand?

Canman

I would suggest that the the relevant UK Authorities are well aware of what has been going on, and have been for a long time, it is not as if these are recent revelations. The smoke has been billowing for a long, long time.

The problem. it would seem, is the problem is too big for them to deal with, so its easier to try and bush it under the carpet.

A shocking state of affairs, perhaps the UK needs a M!l!t@ry C*up !!

The problem I think Jock was that because the perpetrators were of a certain racial / religious group, the 'authorities' were to frightened to do anything lest they be accused of racisim.

Even the reports now are caged in general PC language.

"The offences were carried out by a majority of Asian men".

Is that 51%, or 99%.? And I am not sure about you, but Asia for is a bloody big place, so we're these men majority Chinese, Mongolian or Pakistani.

They can't even bring themselves to say the majority's nationality. As though this would be untruthful or inaccurate.

I really can't find a way to explain this without being branded racist. Isn't that a sad indictment on the world.

This is no doubt a big problem but it's amazing that some of the posters that make sensible posts on other topics turned out to be racist.

It should not be forgotten that many countries have only just recovered from the worst ever plague of pedophilia by Catholic clergy that went on for decades, even protected by a Mr fixit who became pope. BTW Jimmy Savile was a Catholic having been given an award by the church.

The Catholic church has now cleaned things up which it what the UK authorities need to do without regard for the race or religion of the perpetrators.

Why is it necessary to actually mention the ethnic background or race of the offenders anyway? You'll probably find that most were British nationals too.

They can't be defended either and can't hide behind the waffle of "christian faith based in Italy".

Susan Sarandon, Barbara Streisand and Rosie O'Donnell seem to be mum on this issue.

I wasn't aware they were from any accredited, law enforcement agency.

Issue not PC enough...

..and who would want to be called an Islamophobe?

I'm an Islamophobe and make no bones about it. It's time for a new crusade. See my avatar!

Given the topic under discussion here, i had to laugh at your choice of avatar. A prominent high ranking member of the Knight's Templar was ----- Sir Jimmy Savile. There are many reports of his involvement, with other members, of satanic related child sexual abuse. You haven't really thought this through have you!facepalm.gif
