Hello once again,

I am just wanting to clear up some issues with my g/f applying for visa.

My baby will be a citizen by descent when i get back to Thailand , Then register the baby with a passport,

When i write my letter of invitation for my g/f do i tell the app centre we have a baby now and that this is our reason for going to oz again again for showing my family the new born to family members and friends?

Do i tell them the baby is a citizen by descent and do i need to take all the documents for the baby also to the app centre?

The last 2 visas my g/f has had was on purposes of visiting tourists destinations and spending more time together, Somone wrote last time i posted that 2 times visiting tourists areas is suffice in the eyes of app centre. So i was going to write something like this;;;;;

I am writing this letter of invitation for my g/f tto come to oz with myself as we now have new born baby and am wanting to show my family n friends my new born also wanting to see my baby grow in her first 6 months , As i now am a proud father of baby i would sincerly hope my g/f will be allowed a visa for 6 month stay, I will be covering all medical costs insurances health and well being for the baby, My g/f will not be undertaking any types of work nor will she be studying.

blah blah blah.

Hope i may get some feedback and anything i should tell app centre i have not already said..

Tinytot,

There is a similar discussion here.

You might like to read through the links provided.

You wish to apply for a third tourist visa but as you now have a baby with your g/f, they may ask why you aren't applying for a spouse visa...particularly if you intend to register the child as a citizen by descent.

As for a tourist visa, any information that you provide by way of a covering letter is usually OK, provided such information doesn't conflict with the conditions of the visa.

You have given your assurances that she won't work etc. but you must assure Immigration that she will return to Thailand at the expiration of the visa. She may have done so on the two previous occasions, but now that she is the mother of your child, you might now need to put more effort into this assurance.

I suggest that you first register the child through the embassy and at the same time ask them for advice about the possibilities of a third tourist visa.
