Adsl Ji-net Unlimited International 512/256k

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I was looking for an affordable ADSL connection for years with my direct TOT line on Ramkamhaeng area and a few month ago, I signed up with QNET (www.qnet.co.th) and got unlimited domestic line + 20 hours of international (256/128) for 800 Baht. No extra charge, neither line fee or whatever.

That was a good deal but I needed more "international time" and faster speed.

As QNET is using Ji-Net for the internet data bandwidth, I signed up recently with Ji-Net to get ADSL 512/256 unlimited international time with a cap of 3.3 GIGS per day (yeah, that's a lot of data, I will never reach it I guess).

This package is called COMPAX and works on TA AND TOT. (www.ji-net.com)

I am still waiting to be connected, anyone has had the experience with this time of package from Ji-Net?

Thanks for any comments.

Laurent

Just checked their webpage out...

Price seems ok, capped at 140mb/hour

Speed will depend on how many subscribers in your area, since they do say it's a shared connection and that speeds may drop to between 10 and 20% of advertised speeds during peek hours!

We'll have to wait until you had time to check it out!!!

Good luck...

Monty

I was up at Seacon Square Mall yest. TA had a kiosk out on the mall hawking a promotion. 512/256 speed will run you 1150 baht per month for 40 hours & 24 baht per hour after that. No limit on the amount of data you can download. Might be worth looking into as it seems prices are FINALLY starting to come down. I was told I had to wait 30 days until a line becomes available in my neighborhood. Good Luck

Thanks man,

I have a TOT line though and I tried to get a TA in my apartment but the landlord said NO, so I am stuck with TOT.

But I will try Ji-net and keep you all posted on how it works out.

Thanks

Laurent
