At that time, if we needed to discus anything of real importance, we would sit with a piece of paper and pencils and write our conversation down I wrote, " Will you marry me and become my wife?" She wrote, " I need to ask my Mother." It was cute....I saved the paper. Ma said " O.K." ! 13 years later...it is still O.K., and the wife speaks English too well now!
