My screen shows that I have 2 new messages, but when I go to message box, nothing there.

I had that a few days ago.

Assumed it was because I used a different machine to the one I'd read the messages on.

try emptying your cache Rooo... could be something as simple as that

If you are using Windows Internet Explorer, try this:

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar at the top of the browser,

On the "General" tab, look in the middle (Temporary Internet Files) and click on "Settings"

Where it says "Check for newer versions of stored pages", make sure "Automatically" is checked.

Then click on "OK" and on the next window click "Apply".

What will happen then is every time you go to a page, the browser will automatically check the version stored in your cache (and the info stored in your cookies), and look for newer version.

That should clear up the problem. :o

(Also, when you first click on Tools, then Internet Options, you'll see "History" at the bottom of the box. Where it says "Days to keep pages in History", try setting it to a lower number. I usually have mine set to 1. This not only saves disk space, but forces the browser to load the most recent version of what ever page you are visiting, as the older versions will have been deleted from your cache 24 hours after your last visit to the page.)

Clear as mud ? :D
