I may have trouble coming from some Thai guys

Hi. I'm new to this forum but have been living just outside Bangkok for a while now.

So I heard through the grapevine today that I may have annoyed a farang or two, and may now "be expecting" a visit from some Thai guys.

I'm not scared, but was just wondering what my best options might be at this stage.

It isn't normal for farangs to have Thais who would do their dirty work, so there must be more to this.

Thais tend to work in groups and attack in groups. The farangs would have to really have some connections and some money, and a real axe to grind for this to be true.

Is this a hint of violent trouble, or is it some kind of business trouble like getting you kicked out of your apartment?

In farang culture, farangs tend to sort out their own problems. It's Thais who will gang up, usually.

Can you give a hint at what "annoyed" means and how you heard about Thai trouble? Is it possible that someone just wanted to sound tough but was blowing smoke?

Assuming the annoyance you've caused isn't illegal, then file a police report. They probably won't take it seriously, but makes it official if anythibg happens to you.

A famous Thai saying "the dog doesnt bark before it bites" if someone really wanted revenge, then you probably woukdnt have been warned.

Did you default on a personal loan? Hopefully its not over a Thai woman.

Life is already too short without making extra drama for yourself.

See if you can make amends with those farang. Over here farangs usually stick together.

Farang culture....yes these Farangs are all the same in Novosibirsk to Sicilian, Swedish or Portugese.....all the same Farang culture....

but what happens if the "thai guys" ARE police or some other officials eg immigration, the OP is not being specific enough, as if it is the BiB then filing a police report may not be the smartest thing to do.

Let's just say I was dumb enough not to protect my personal details online. People can track me.

I've made some serious mistakes. I insulted the wrong people.

I live out in Samut Prakhan and hopefully am far enough from Bangkok to escape any trouble.

The vast majority of resident farangs wouldn't p*ss on another farang is they were on fire forget about sticking together

you only have to read the comments on TV to understand this

in my time here, and from what I have observed, large numbers of farangs are the most selfish and insecure "expats" I have ever come across in any of the places I have worked/lived and I live in a few over the years

The are many here who would stitch up/ grass up or sell another farang down the river without a second thought if they believed they could gain something out of it
