No .. the elections are just in BKK ... I'll be having a beer out tonight in Phuket .

the bars in kho san will probably be closed for the elections.

main tourist areas are all closed

Stock up on beer in a small soi store, call a few friends, have a party at your own or somebody else's home... or, shudder the thought, have a quiet night reading a book, learning something new or watching a few vids. :o

The wife and a few of our friends went to KSR last night. KSR no alcohol. At the back of the temple a bottle of Vodka. No problem.

A couple of the guest houses that have bars attached to them were selling alcohol, it was all done fairly secretively though.
