I was happy to hear from a distant friend who would like to propose to his lady. They are for many years already happy Thailand visitors and so, the perfect place to launch the big question would be here. (they’re both Dutch).

In December they are coming with some friends and they will be staying on Koh Chang, probably white sand beach. Everyone knows these fire guys on the beach and he wants to arrange some sort of private show.

The big finale must be him blowing fire into the letters with the words: <name> will you marry me?

What he basically needs is ideas and a good contact to arrange these letters, how to make?
The idea is quite simple I guess, an aluminum frame covered with some alu gasket in which you can hang pieces of rope/cloth, soaked with petrol in the shape of the letters. The tricky part is maybe that the petrol is not running out and the whole thing burns away before it gets readable.

Also he needs someone on Koh Chang to talk with these guys and hire them for a private show. I am not able to arrange this myself since I am busy with work this time.

Anyone who can help me on this one?

I thought your OP was something to do with burning old love letters to each other. At my wife's insistence I had to burn the letters she wrote to me before she would marry me.....They were I.O.U's I made her sign ever timeI gave her money.......not really, just joking.
