Are There New Laws/Regulations, Or What Has Changed At Khurusapha?

Hello and Sawasdee khrap,

I just checked on my provisional TL of the TCT's website,as i wanted to update my resume and found out that they've changed the status completely. The last time I've checked was only one month ago and I could see that I was on my third provisional, valid until 2016.

Before I could see when my first, second and third was issued, when they expired, name of school, job title, etc...

But now there's only one message, saying permission. At the last row, where they had their comment if it was the first, or second, there's only: Let No 1

Applicant's status

Identification code

Name - Name

Agencies / educational

Status

Number of books

Issued

Expiration date

Note

Permission

/

Let No.1

Please see the whole page attached as a MS Office Word file. Also checked a friend's status and got the same result. Is anybody here away of any changes they'd made at Khurusapha?

Is it possible that once permitted, that we'll be able to continue so, without a degree in education? Or could Let No 1 mean: Let No One Get Another One?

There's neither the name of the school, nor any other information, such as passport number etc...

Any useful input would be deeply appreciated. Enjoy the midterm break, I really need it. Last day is Friday.......wai2.gif

Are the rules in bkk different from in Issan?

In bkk can only get the 3rd waiver if continuing at the same school as your second waiver or enrolled in a degree program to get certified.

I know several people won't be able to get work permits next year unless they relax the requirements.

Of course are the rules the same in Isaan. I believe they only gave me a third waiver, as my second provisional TL was still valid for almost one year,

I would not like to try that again, as the unfriendly guy at counter # eight at Khurusapha,, always wearing gloves, is such an unfriendly human being. Impolite is not the right word for this guy, if you know what I mean.

He says things like:" Hey Mr. Teacher. You no have degree in education. You not get new letter. Why you quit school?" Why you bla,bla,bla....and stickers are everywhere on the walls/windows saying; "We love teachers."

The Military Junta should really replace him with their worst drill sergeant and it would still be better for people like us.

Does anybody know what Let No. 1 means ? I'd assume it means." Let No one know? I'm confused, na khrap.

A very quick jump to conclusions there, lostinisaan.

I think it might be a server or database software related problem. Moreover, you probably have heard that the TCT is going to abandon the passport IDs and are in the process of giving all people in its database an unique ID.

BTW, congrats for your "Super membership"/ Thanks a lot for your kind words, really deeply appreciated. wai2.gif

You must be right, as even guys, who had a negative status do seem to have the same positive result. 1. Permission 2. "Let No.1"

That really sounds like a huge software problem. Might be all gone.......biggrin.png

Wish you an outstanding good and relaxed holiday. Cheers.-wai2.gif

In Thai my records state 'kor krang tee x' (where x is a number) which is translated as 'Request no. 1', 'Request no. 2' & 'Asked 3 times'. Maybe yours states something like 'anuyat hai krang tee 1' or 'Allowed for the first time'.
