bertty
I do get rather emotional when I read some of these stories in the papers and some of the posts on here. Its not as if these 2 guys are British/American or any other nationality that would ever be likely to read or write on TV. And yet here we are supporting them and hopefully making a change. I must admit to being proud of many of you guys. Less so the pricks who have followed like sheep.
englishoak
Sean needs to be talking to the British Police first imo or they will be wanting a chat with him. They will get far more out of him I believe its very likely that has already happened.

englishoak
On Monday, Mark Kent, the British ambassador in Bangkok, stopped short of offering full support to the Thai police investigation. “Much speculation about UK views on Koh Tao investigation. UK has good relationship w Thai Police, but I have not commented on investigation,” he wrote. Dosnt look like UK.gov has made any statement regarding the case let alone happy with the way it is progressing. So Mr Kent just said he hasnt commented, so someone was making up previous stories Mr Kent was happy with proceedings, now theres a surprise. All very interesting Edited October 7, 2014 by englishoak
cowboy country
There is some talk of headmans son , Mon being acquitted of rape 2 years earlier though police had evidence ( leg wound requiring 12 stitches when he escaped through a window Yes, my wife told me yesterday that story has a lot of people on Thai social media talking about that.. The female victim had to flee the scene back to the UK, The son wasn't acquitted, no victim, no crime, nothing to see here... When they provide all their sons and cousins for DNA tests to the British Authorities we know what they have to hide.. If these young Burmese guys worked at AC bar bar it would not be unusual for them to be hanging around the Bosses son who is of similar age, figure it out.. SteveFong
more and more reporters are on the story. create twitter accounts and start speaking to them directly, any day, the military authorities may issue an order to close these threads, and that will be all she wrote, get your back up onto twitter and facebook, the lid is being blown off the case this week you can see the momentum now that they have lawyers and abuse is being discussed and the third witness is being secreted

Popular Post cowboy country
Have just heard some bar flies in Pattaya ( two of them a retired British coppers ) have just taken bets on Sean , apparently odds are not looking too good on his future long term lifespan . uhhh ? wonder what they suggest ? think they may know something ????? If his card is marked then (a) he owes it to his alleged 'friend's to blow the lid on it before he is no longer able to and (b ) can't help feeling his best chance of surviving is to be under the supervision of the UK police. Whether he does so may depend how involved he was / how worried he is for his life (if any of this is in the right ballpark). He might have split allegiances but should bear in mind one party would most likely have fought for him and the other party might be capable of ending his life without blinking. I'm amazed he made it out of Thailand if he is that deep in it (if in fact he did, though I think his sister posted on facebook that he did). I thought previously that his original facebook message 'xyz did it' was referring to the original murders and not who *might* do him in that night. Can't help feeling Mon might be the candy guy. There was previous talk too that he likes weapons and had a thing for blondes - but this was just TV talk. If Warot was not directly involved and cannot be linked then why the desperation to get him off the island, and why not have him do the DNA test to stop the rumours? - Is it Warot that maybe jumped out of a window 2 years ago onto some glass and not Mon maybe? Headman must be ticked off that his son is getting so much heat if he was not a perp. You make a lot of good points, Now the burmese have their lawyers perhaps we could start a fund to match the $1 million baht that the head man said he would pay if anyone could prove anyone from his family was involved.... Let's rustle up a million baht and offer it to the heads mans family if they give DNA samples to the UK authorities..All the sons and cousins...not put the samples in a taxi fto Singapore and end up in bkk...Let the uk compare them with the samples they have If they have nothing to hide they'd jump at it and all this inuendo would vanish... Then their sweet little Island can return to business as normal, even regain their already lost face and income, What's worse for a Thai, loss of face or money? Well you have all of the above now.. Would be the perfect call for his disgusting offer of a million to prove his family did it... The familes DNA holds the key..

englishoak
The Guardian Newspaper UK have followed The Telegraph's lead, posted half and hour ago :- http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/oct/07/suspects-britons-murder-thailand-police-brutality "Thai police officers threatened the two suspects with electrocution during a violent interrogation before the pair agreed to admit to killing Hannah Witheridge and David Miller, according to a Burmese embassy lawyer who spoke to the men on Tuesday." Hopefully more UK press articles on their way-The world IS watching. Photographic evidence of their alleged abuse, seen by the Guardian, has been passed to the British ambassador to Thailand, Mark Kent I find this to be the most interesting thing from this Guardian report. That is referring to scold burns on other Burmese questioned they tried to get a confession out of

Or was his little boy scared rant just due to coming off a high? Paranoia etc. Perhaps one of you tweeting all the press should tweet some of the Scottish press too. Some friend he was, doubt he even sent a condolence card. Had his ten minutes of fame. Makes me sick to my stomach. Or was his little boy scared rant just due to coming off a high? Paranoia etc. Perhaps one of you tweeting all the press should tweet some of the Scottish press too. Some friend he was, doubt he even sent a condolence card. Sadly, when Sean first came forward, the Scottish press decided to report on his criminal record rather than investigate his claims, resulting in him receiving a barrage of abuse, subsequently closing his facebook and twitter accounts and going into hiding. It was a bad choice by the Daily Record as far as I'm concerned and they shoulder the blame for his continued silence.

JLCrab
Yes JL Crab but if they expected us to believe that the killer of JFK made 8 perfectly symetrical 11/2 cm stab wounds with a 5 Kg Hoe I would have thought there was a conspiracy with JFK too!! JFK wasnt photographed handing over a telephone to police which turned up in a bush behind the dead peoples house. JFK's killer wasnt reported by a taxi driver for bribery and threats. This is NOT the same case - here things are obvious and the layers of cover up can each be seen. Yes -- Plenty to keep the Koh Tao crime theorists busy for a long time regardless of the outcome.
