Looking for HDMI/SVGA Adapter

Featured Replies

Hi folks, I often deliver Powerpoint presentations in various places.

Trouble is, my laptop has a HDMI output port, but not SVGA, and many of the projectors my customer wants me to use only accommodate SVGA.

Anyone know where I can but a HDMI (male) to SVGA (female) adapter, similar to the one in the image below?

Pattaya preferred but can order online or a quick trip to BKK if required.

Thanks in advance folks.

Pantip Plaza, Fortune Town or IT area in most department stores.

Will try Pantip next time in BKK, thanks.

I got one like this from eBay a few months ago. I think it was $8usd with free shipping from China. Took about 2 weeks to arrive.

Bought exactly the same at Tukcom Pattaya, was ~3-400 Baht.

I bought it, because I just wanted to grab the audio from my Chromecast (with a female to female Adapter)

But this converter is a passive one (no own power supply) and it works more than unreliable, because the builtin converter chip needs to much power.

I would suggest to buy only one with power supply.

Anyway, here you'll find dozens of them
