BANGKOK, 15 October 2014 (NNT) - Some of the people who have not been originally appointed to the National Reform Council will be appointed as assistants to the council members, said the President of the National Legislative Assembly.

According to NLA President Pornpetch Wichitcholchai, who is also the chair of the committee on civil servant affairs, the committee has approved the appointment of a number of positions to assist the works of the NRC president and vice presidents.

He said that the additional positions included advisors, secretaries and assistant secretaries.

In addition, each NRC member whose responsibilities require an aide will also be granted one assistant as well.

Mr. Pornpetch went on to say that all the new positions are to be selected from more than 7,000 NRC candidates who were not among the 250 members appointed to the council.
