Lenovo C260 Wireless card does not work.

Featured Replies

Using WIN7 Ultimate / 32 Bit. There are no drivers installed. Went to Lenovo Support and they appear to only offer drivers for WIN7/64 bit and WIN8.

Only disk supplied in the package was for WIN8 Touchscreen. Device Manager / Network has no drivers.

Google Lenovo c260 wireless card driver 32 bit, you should be able to download the correct driver from on of those results.

The Lenovo Support page with downloads specifically exclude WIN7 32 Bit.

Silly me... The Lenovo C260 will only run with Windows 7 / 64 Bits and its resulting drivers. Would have been nice if Lenovo had mentioned this in its Specs.

You're probably better off running 64-bit.

But just because Lenovo doesn't offer C260 32bit Atheros or Realtek 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi wireless card support doesn't mean there isn't a driver.

You just need to find the exact manufacturer, chipset, and board version -- then search for OS support for THAT.

Have you explored Jiu-Jitsu's links?

Windows update will almost certainly download the correct driver but you need to be able to connect for that. If you do not have a wired lan maybe you could go to some friend who has to run Windows update for you.
