sharecropper
Mancini, who will be handed a £150 million transfer kitty by City’s Abu Dhabi owner Sheikh Mansour to buy the players he believes can land the title, has risked upsetting Liverpool by publicly revealing his aim to lure Torres away from Liverpool with a £60m bait. He he. I hope you get him, and piss off Rafa into the bargain. Without Torres, or a suitable relacement, Liverpool are effectively finished even as as a top 6 (or 7) club. JacknDanny
As an extra, I wish all the best to West Ham. If they are safe they are obviously gonna be gentle on us. But they are generally recognised as a good footballing side with a good youth policy. Hope they rip Wigan.

That will probably change with a decent manager. I would say the youth policy is the best. Disappointing the scammers are safe though, but that's life i suppose Nice to see that City are now under enormous pressure to beat Tottenham

mrbojangles
Can't believe that we have to beg the Premier League for an emergency goalkeeper when we "own" Joe Hart. Who on earth let that one slip in the contract? From skysports:- City make keeper request Manchester City have made a formal request to the Premier League over an emergency goalkeeper loan. Manchester City may ask to recall goalkeeper Joe Hart but, under rules, there is a 'no-recall clause' in his contract because he joined Birmingham on a season-long loan. Shay Given will see two specialists in the next 72 hours after dislocating his shoulder against Arsenal at the Emirates on Saturday. City have three Premier League games remaining and the club's request for an emergency goalkeeper will be considered by the Premier League Board, who have ultimate responsibility for any decision. City's number two goalkeeper, Stuart Taylor, is still not fit after a knee operation and fourth choice David Gonzalez is still suffering from a groin injury. It leaves Faroe Islands international Gunnar Nielsen as first in line and academy player Loris Karius providing cover.

You've got two keepers then? I suspect the answer will be no chance. However if the request came from the other side of Manchester anything is possible.... smokie36
I'm in two minds about this one to be honest Mr BJ. On one hand it seems he lacks premiership experience but he might just sieze his opportunity and play a blinder in the remaining games. Overall I'd prefer to see someone come in from outside and destabilise your side a wee bit. I wonder if Cudicini is fit yet?
