Work Truck Overturns in Chonburi, Injuring Multiple Workers
Picture from responders. An accident occurred at approximately 17.50, on September 21, on the Sangsalueng-Pa Yub route in Nong Phai Kaeo Subdistrict, Ban Bueng District, Chonburi. A work truck carrying 30 workers overturned, causing multiple injuries, according to a report from the Siantarum Rescue Centre. The truck, which was transporting workers in its cargo area, flipped over, scattering passengers across the road. Thirteen individuals sustained injuries and were rushed to Ban Bueng Hospital. Their conditions ranged from chest pain and broken limbs to open wounds and back injuries. Rescue teams administered first aid on-site before transferring the most seriously injured to medical personnel. The remaining workers, who were conscious and sustained only minor injuries, were transported to the hospital by their employer for further medical The Ban Bueng Police Station is overseeing the investigation into the cause of the accident. -- 2024-09-22 -

I haven't lived in the West for many years, but I don't recall any murders where throats were slit. It's with a bit up close and personal and scary....wouldn't a gun with silencer be as effective and would put some distance between the criminal and victim. It has a metallic smell from the iron, but I've never been able to smell the stuff. Taste, yes, after dental work. -

I would guess the separation is for taxation reasons. The 10% service fee is supposed to go to the employees so probably not taxed as part of the business income
